Today Studio Élan announced that one of their previously released titles, Upwards, Rain! The Post Office of Farewells, will be receiving a major update alongside its Steam release, coming July 1st. This new version of Upwards, Rain! will include updated artwork, a new lore compendium, illustrated side stories, and most notably, full English voice acting.

The Game and the Studio

Upwards, Rain! was originally released in Studio Élan’s internal game jam last year, Dandelion Set: Garden Variety, helmed by the creative leads of Twofold. It follows Rain, a bird girl and mail courier who breaks protocol to help the skittish human girl Mila find her lost letter—from her friend who may have never existed. The two go on an adventure through a series of puzzles in a visual novel hybrid setting. Players can wishlist Upwards, Rain! The Post Office of Farewells on Steam to be notified when this complete edition releases.
